Gary Boyd

Gary Boyd leads digital transformation initiatives and associated operational activities at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. He focuses on delivering the strategy, tools, platforms, and processes that will enable innovative customer engagement solutions and integrated strategic partnerships that will drive improved health outcomes for health plan members. Before joining Arkansas Blue Cross, Boyd served as vice president of Information Technology for a large healthcare company. He led customer transformation engagements and directed the technology organization that provided strategic partnership to the Medicare and Medicaid business units. Boyd is a global healthcare and insurance executive with more than 25 years of managed care, insurance and technology experience. A native of Britain, Boyd, now a U.S. citizen, graduated from The University of Northumbria UK and graduated from the Swiss Re Executive Leadership Institute program accredited through the European Foundation for Management Development. He is a Fellow of The Institute of Mathematics and a Chartered Mathematician.
