Ken Wester is the current Director of Office of Information Systems and Chief Information Officer at Arkansas Tech University. Ken has been with the university since July 2006, serving in various capacities including Associate Director of Computer Services and Director of the Technology Center. In their current role, they are responsible for providing management and operational control for the Network/PC Division of Computer Services, which covers all areas of PC-based computing, networking, and backend systems. Ken is also the university's technical representative for aspects concerning distance/online learning, video conferencing, Blackboard CMS, and other systems related to virtual/online learning. Prior to their current role, Ken served as the Assistant Director of Computer Services and Network and Computer Support at Arkansas Tech University. Ken began their career at the university as a Computer Technician in 1990.

Ken Wester has a Masters of Education Instruction Technology and Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Arkansas Tech University. Ken also has an Industrial Technology degree from Northwestern State University.
