Michael Stenderup has a diverse work experience with a focus on marketing and leadership roles. Michael started their career in 2003 at Arla Foods as a Business Unit Manager, where they were responsible for marketing activities and business development. Michael achieved market leadership in the butter category during their tenure. Michael then moved on to be a Regional Export Manager, where they handled sales responsibilities for 10 markets in Eastern Europe, including new market development and establishing partnerships.

In 2005, they joined Carlsberg Group as a Senior Brand Manager, responsible for marketing in Spain, the Middle East, and Africa. Michael successfully built and positioned brands and led communication development. Later, they became a Marketing Manager, overseeing marketing activities in Russia, Spain, and Cyprus. Michael handled brand and campaign development for multiple brands.

In 2008, Stenderup moved back to Arla Foods as a Marketing Manager, leading initiatives in the butter and white cheese categories. Michael was also responsible for business development and new product launches.

In subsequent years, they held several roles at The LEGO Group, including Director & Marketing Lead, Global Senior Marketing Director, and Senior Marketing Director for the Boys segment and Central Europe. Michael focused on driving growth, leading digital transformations, and rebuilding the marketing organization. Michael also played a significant role in getting the Girls' business back into growth by developing new strategies and product offerings.

Stenderup's most recent position is as Vice President Marketing & Digital at Arla Foods, where they are responsible for future-proofing and transforming the entire marketing organization. Michael focuses on consumer-centric strategies, brand development, and digital-first approaches.
