Matt Turinsky

Superintendent Of Parks- Grounds at Arlington Heights Park District

Matt Turinsky is an experienced professional in park management and youth coaching, currently serving as the Superintendent of Parks-Grounds for Arlington Heights Park District since June 2006. Turinsky's career progression includes roles as part-time maintenance staff, Maintenance Worker, and Operations Manager for Grounds. An ISA Certified Arborist and Illinois Pesticide Applicator, Turinsky also holds a CDL-B License with an Air Brake endorsement. Additionally, Turinsky has a background in youth hockey coaching, having worked with several clubs from 2007 to 2014, achieving USA Hockey Level 4 certification and focusing on skill development and positive communication. Turinsky earned a Bachelor's degree in Fire Service Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and has pursued further education with IPRA and Harper College.
