Alexa Downs

Alexa Downs, M.Ed., currently serves as the Assistant Food Service Director for Arlington Public Schools since February 2023. With extensive experience in nutrition education, Alexa has worked as a Nutrition Educator for Kid's Test Kitchen and previously for Mattapan Community Health Center and Daily Table, focusing on promoting healthy eating habits among children and families. In past roles, Alexa has held positions in food service management within schools and restaurants, ensuring compliance with nutritional guidelines and supervising staff. Educationally, Alexa holds a Master of Education in Nutrition Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Foods, Nutrition, and Related Services, both from Framingham State University.
