Steven Wen

Steven Wen has accumulated over 25 years of work experience in the energy trading industry. Steven is currently serving as the Vice President of Trading at ARM Energy since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of West Gas at DTE Energy from September 2019 to July 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing West Financial and Physical Gas Trading as well as Renewable Natural Gas Marketing.

From August 2014 to September 2019, Steven worked at California Resources Corporation as the Manager of Gas Marketing. During their tenure, they performed various roles, including Natural Gas and Power Trader, emissions Trader, and manager of storage and transportation assets on SoCal, Kern, and PG&E.

Before joining California Resources Corporation, Steven worked at SoCalGas as a Senior Financial and Physical Trader from June 2009 to August 2014. Steven was responsible for primary financial trading and west physical gas trading, as well as managing the park and loan book and storage options.

Steven's career in energy trading began at Macquarie Group, where they worked as a Gas Trader from June 2005 to June 2009. Prior to that, they served as the West Natural Gas Scheduler at Cook Inlet Energy, LLC from January 2004 to June 2005.

Steven's professional journey started in the US Navy, where they served as an Avionics Electrician Petty Officer Second Class from 1996 to 2000.

Steven Wen has studied Economics at California State University, Northridge, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree. Additionally, they have also pursued studies in Avionics at the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Pensacola, FL.
