Reinhard Keil

Reinhard Keil is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the embedded systems sector. As the Senior Director of Embedded Technology at Arm since November 2005, Reinhard is a key figure in the IoT Line of Business Leadership, focusing on technology adoption, CMSIS, tools, and ecosystem development. Prior to this role, Reinhard served as the Geschäftsführer and Senior Director of Embedded Tools at a leading organization, overseeing software development solutions across embedded, automotive, and IoT domains. Reinhard's career began as the Director of MCU Tools at Keil Software from May 1985 to October 2005, during which Reinhard founded KEIL ELEKTRONIK GmbH, forming the foundation for Keil Software, Inc. in the USA. Reinhard holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Elektrotechnik from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, earned between 1980 and 1985.
