Program Manager at Armenian Code Academy

Sona Sargsyan has a diverse work experience starting from being a Program Manager at Armenian Code Academy since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Coordinator & Advocacy Officer at Society Without Violence from August 2019 to January 2022. Sona also served as the Tchambarak Area Program Sponsorship Coordinator at World Vision from November 2014 to August 2017. Sona began their career as an Assistant to the Deputy Minister of Justice at the Ministry of Justice of Armenia from February 2012 to May 2014.

Sona Sargsyan began their education in 2007 at The Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Brusov, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication from 2007 to 2011. After their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Yerevan State University from 2017 to 2019, earning a Master's degree in Social Policy and Administration. In 2019, they attended The University of Connecticut School of Social Work as a Short Term Scholar, although the specific degree obtained during this time is not stated.
