Evan Mintz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Evan began their career as a Policy Intern at the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas in 2009, followed by a Legal Intern position at the same organization in 2010. In 2011, Evan joined the Harris County District Attorney's Office for a post-graduation fellowship. Later that year, they started working at the Houston Chronicle, where they held multiple positions including Writer, Deputy Editor, Opinion Editor, Member of the Editorial Board, and Deputy Opinion Editor. Evan then transitioned to Arnold Ventures in 2019, initially serving as a Communications Manager before being promoted to the role of Director of Communications in 2022.
Evan Mintz received their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Rice University in 2008. Evan then went on to attend Cardozo School of Law, where they earned their Doctor of Law (JD) degree from 2008 to 2011.
