Chao Fang

Chao Fang has been working in the field since 2011. Chao began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin. In 2013, they moved to the Broad Institute, where they held the role of Research Chemist I and Postdoc. In 2015, they joined ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (acquired by Takeda) as a Senior Research Scientist. Since 2017, they have been employed at Arrakis Therapeutics, where they have held the roles of Principal Scientist/Associate Director, Senior Scientist, and Scientist II.

Chao Fang completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Peking University in 2006. Following this, they completed graduate coursework in Organic Chemistry at the University of Minnesota in 2007. Finally, they earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The Ohio State University in 2011.
