Joel Dufour

Joel Dufour has been working in the scientific field since 2013. Joel began their career as a Physics Tutor at Plymouth State University in 2013. In 2014, they received a stipend from the NH-INBRE to conduct research under Dr. Heather Doherty. In 2015, they held an Intern role at Blue Stream Laboratories, where they were responsible for monitoring and maintaining a nitrogen generator system, preparing reagents, and managing general-use and MS Glassware. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Boston Analytical as a Chemist for the Extractables and Leachables group. During this time, they operated and maintained two GC/EI-Q-MS instruments, assisted with GMP studies of clients' polymeric medical products, and helped with method development and GMP document creation. Joel currently works as an Associate Scientist at Arrakis Therapeutics.

Joel Dufour earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Plymouth State University between 2011 and 2015.
