Thomas Seest has been working in software development since 1996. Thomas began their career at TOM, Inc. as a Senior Software Analyst, where they worked on the Educator Licensure Information System for the Illinois State Board of Education. Thomas also worked on a Student Information System for SISK12 / Tremont Software, a Retail Relief store management system for Greenview Nurseries, a software automation development tool for Control Center, Inc., and a Records Management System and Asset Management System for the Kentucky State Cabinet of Health. In 2012-2013, they worked on a Spanish Language assessment testing tool and associated content editor for Metritech. Thomas also designed, created, developed, maintained and supported the Agile Student Information Portal and Agile Student Alter Moniter for Modifiable Office Technologies, LLC. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Array.

Thomas Seest attended Bradley University from 1983 to 1985, where they majored in Computer Science and minored in Accounting.
