Dave McDonald

Dave McDonald possesses extensive experience in the field of electronic repair and technical support within the film and media industry. Since joining ARRI in July 2001, Dave has held several key positions, including Service and Operations Manager, Service Supervisor, and Senior Service & Application Engineer, focusing on the repair of electronic ballasts, projection systems, and motion picture cameras, as well as digital camera service and workflow support for customers. Prior to ARRI, Dave worked at Figtree Computer Corporation and PS Production Services Ltd, where responsibilities included corporate sales, computer network installation, and technical support for film crews. Educationally, Dave holds a Diploma in Theatre Arts - Technical Production from Sheridan College and has foundational experience from various roles, including freelance opportunities and early positions with Strand Lighting (Canada) Ltd.
