Louise Douglas has extensive work experience in various roles, starting in 1999 and continuing to the present. Louise currently works as a Marketing/Technical Writer at Arria NLG since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Oceaneering from 2006 to 2020 in roles such as Inform Customer Success Engineer, ACET Support Specialist, Lead Technical Author, and Technical Author. At Oceaneering, they were involved in providing support for inspection systems, training and mentoring team members, creating documentation, and improving quality.
Before Oceaneering, Louise worked at EXPRO NORTH SEA LIMITED as a Corporate Communications Assistant in 2005, and at Defence Estates Housing Directorate, MOD as a Customer Care provider from 2004 to 2005. Louise also gained experience at Office Angels as an Office Temporary in 2004.

Louise Douglas has a diverse education history. In 1993, they began studying at Moray House Institute of Education, Heriot Watt University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Primary Education. Louise completed their studies in 1997.

Prior to that, in 2006, they obtained an NDT Appreciation (BINDT Accredited) certificate from Oceaneering Asset Integrity and completed the AutoCAD 2000 Intermediate course from North East Scotland College.
