Matt Childers

Matt Childers has extensive work experience in transportation and supply chain management. Matt is currently serving as the President of DFW Transportation Club - TCDFW since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Board Member at the same organization from January 2022 to June 2023.

Matt also worked at Arrive Logistics as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partners since June 2021.

From 2017 to 2021, Matt worked at Alcon in various roles, including Senior Manager of Global Secondary Transportation, Manager of EMEA Secondary Transportation, and Supervisor of Global Transportation - Optimization and Performance.

Before joining Alcon, Matt worked at ISN, where they held multiple roles including Account Representative, Senior Associate in Client Development for Wood, Paper, Packaging & Consumer Products, Senior Associate in Client Development for Upstream Onshore, and Associate in Contractor Operations.

Additionally, Matt gained early work experience as a Global Supply Chain Intern at Alcon Laboratories, Inc. in 2011.

Matt Childers holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business. Matt has also obtained various certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from Alcon in 2019, Supervisor Development Program from McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin in 2016, Conceptual Selling - Customer Focused Interactions from MHI Global in 2016, Fundamentals of Oil & Gas Training from the Energy Management Institute (EMI) in 2015, and a High Impact Presentation Certificate from Dale Carnegie Training in 2015.
