Laura Shawver

Laura Shawver is an accomplished leader in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Capstan Therapeutics and a member of the Board of Directors at ARS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Relay Therapeutics. Shawver founded The Clearity Foundation and held various executive roles, including Chief Executive Officer at Silverback Therapeutics and Synthorx Inc., as well as CEO at Cleave Biosciences and Phenomix Corporation. With an extensive educational background, including a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from the University of Iowa, Shawver has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing therapeutic development and innovation.
