Phillip Schneider

Phillip Schneider has held various roles in the pharmaceutical industry since 1985. Phillip started as Manager of Financial Reporting at Syntex Pharmaceuticals in 1985 and then became SVP and Chief Financial Officer of IDEC Pharmaceuticals Corporation in 1987. In 2002, they joined Gen-Probe Incorporated as a Board Member and Audit Chair and YMCA of San Diego County as a Director and Former Chairman of the Board-Volunteer. In 2003, they joined TargeGen, Inc. as a Board member and Audit Chair. In 2007, they joined Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Director and Audit Committee Chairman. In 2014, they joined Auspex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Director and Audit Committee Chairman and Pfenex Inc. as a Director and Audit Committee Chairman. In 2019, they joined ARS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Director. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Longboard Pharmaceuticals as Director and Audit Committee Chair.

Phillip Schneider obtained their MBA in Finance & Accounting from the University of Southern California between 1980 and 1982. Prior to that, they earned a BS in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis between 1976 and 1978.
