ARSIEM is looking for a Senior Dataflow Engineer. This position will support one of our government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on system operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and specifically managing NiFi dataflows, NiFi cluster management, and some light Python scripting.
  • Support system integration, upgrade, and deployment activities.
  • Work with systems that ingest large volumes of data.
  • Responsibilities will include Elastic cluster management and deployment, creating Kibana visualizations and dashboards, and enhancing data analytic solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience or Master's degree in plus 6-years of relevant experience.
  • An Associate's degree plus 10-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
  • Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of NiFi is required.
  • In-depth understanding of corporate dataflow and knowledge of common dataflow tools such as DX, ElasticSearch, Kibana.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Linux and Docker
  • Python scripting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and/or experience with customer's analytic tools
  • Kubernetes, Kafka​
