Nathan Ergonul has a diverse and extensive work experience in the oil and chemical industry. Nathan is currently the Managing Director at ART Hydroprocessing, a joint venture between Chevron and W.R. Grace & Co. Previously, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Grace FCC Catalysts Middle East. Nathan has held several roles at W.R. Grace & Co., including Vice President of Marketing, General Manager of Sales and Technical Services for the Middle East and Africa, Director of Sales and Technical Services for the Middle East, and Sales and Technical Service Manager for the Middle East and Turkey. Nathan also worked as the General Manager of Sales and Technical Services for W.R. Grace & Co. / ART and as a Business Director at Advanced Refining Technologies. Before that, they gained experience at Total, where they worked as a Process Support Supervisor and Process & Project Engineer. Nathan began their career as a Trainee Process Engineer at Huntsman. Throughout their career, Nathan has demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking, and business development expertise.

Nathan Ergonul holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Hult International Business School, which they earned from 2012 to 2014. Nathan also has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Chemical Engineering from Aston University, which they completed from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Nathan has obtained certifications in various areas, including Economics of the Clean Energy Transition from Stanford Center for Professional Development in 2021, Leading for Organisational Impact from the Center for Creative Leadership in 2017, and Coaching Essentials from The Ken Blanchard Companies in 2016.
