Susannah Lodge-Rigal

Susannah Lodge-Rigal is the Bay Area Regional Director for AoPS Academy. Susannah holds a B.A. from Knox College and an MFA in English - Creative Writing from Colorado State University, where she served as Assistant Director of the university’s writing center, taught rhetoric and composition and received the 2019 Academy of American Poets Prize. Most recently, she served as the Language Arts Associate Director at the Pleasanton campus, where she also taught. As a longtime educator working with students of all ages, Susannah is passionate about the Art of Problem Solving curriculum and pedagogical approach. She is honored to support area academies and the thriving AoPS community of learning enthusiasts. In her spare time, Susannah enjoys writing, running, playing music, and exploring new hiking trails!
