Antonio Cansado

Antonio Cansado has a strong background in software engineering and research. Antonio is currently working as a Software Engineer at Arta Finance (formerly Arbo Works) since October 2021. Prior to this, they spent almost a decade at Google as a Staff Software Engineer from March 2012 to October 2021. Antonio also has experience as a Researcher at NIC Chile Research Labs from March 2010 to March 2012. In addition, they have worked as an Associated Expert at Universidad de Chile from March 2011 to December 2011 and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile from August 2010 to December 2011. Antonio's early career includes roles as a Project Engineer at GTD from September 2009 to February 2010, a Postdoc at Universidad de Málaga from April 2009 to August 2009, and two positions at INRIA - a Postdoc from January 2009 to March 2009 and a PhD Student from October 2005 to December 2008. Antonio's experience also includes being a Software Engineer at Via 56 from December 2004 to September 2005, where they served as the chief engineer in the design of an Air Traffic Control software. Antonio Cansado completed their high school education at The Grange School from 1997 to 1999. Antonio then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, which they completed between 1999 and 2005. Following this, Antonio earned a PhD in Computer Science from Université Côte d'Azur, where they studied from 2005 to 2008.
