Director Of Advanced Operations at Artelon

Chase Thornburg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chase began their career at Atlanta Aerospace Composites in 2004, working as a Composite Technician and gaining expertise in various repair and finishing techniques for aircraft and their components. In 2006, they joined DLK Aviation as an Aircraft Mechanic, where they performed maintenance and inspections on a variety of aircraft models and also conducted composite repairs and painting. In 2009, Chase transitioned to Amendia, taking on roles such as a Field Engineer, Product Director, and Project Engineer. During their time at Amendia, they worked closely with spine surgeons to design and develop spinal implants and instrumentation, while also traveling extensively across the U.S. In 2018, Chase joined Artelon, initially as the Manager of Research and Development, before being promoted to Director of Research Development and later to the Director of Advanced Operations.

Chase Thornburg pursued their education with a focus on engineering and aviation. From 2002 to 2005, they attended Clayton State University, where they studied Aviation Technology with a specialization in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician. Following this, Chase attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician.
