Alexi Goranov

Alexi Goranov is the current VP of Research and Development at Artemys Foods. Prior to this, they worked at Zymergen, Inc. for 5 years and 5 months, where they held positions such as Manager of Projects and Senior Scientist. Alexi also worked at UCSF for 2 years and 9 months as a Senior Specialist, and at MIT Koch Institute as a Post-doctoral Fellow for 6 years and 8 months. Alexi has extensive experience in managing projects and teams, as well as performing high-throughput genetic screening and contributing scientifically to research projects.

Alexi Goranov has a PhD in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a BS in Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas, and an AS in Biology from Navarro College. Alexi also has a verified certificate for Industrial Biotechnology from edX.
