Karen Rose

Karen Rose has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Karen is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Artera, a patient engagement platform. Before that, they worked at Autodesk as a Senior Software Engineering Manager for their AutoCAD division. Prior to Autodesk, Karen was the Software Engineering Manager at BuildingConnected where they built and managed a team, implemented processes, and initiated programs for female engineers. Karen also worked as a Software Engineer at BuildingConnected and served as a Technical Instructor/Mentor at MakerSquare School of Software Engineering. Earlier in their career, Karen worked as a Software Engineer at Optum, Software Consultant at Fishbowl Solutions, and Software Development Engineer at Express Scripts. Karen also conducted research as a Researcher at the CSUMS Program - University of Saint Thomas.

Karen Rose obtained their High School Diploma from St. Michael - Albertville High School from 2001 to 2005. Afterwards, they attended the University of St. Thomas from 2005 to 2009 where they pursued a degree in Computer and Information Science with a focus on Mathematics.
