Mohamed Saheel

Staff Emulation Engineer at Arteris

Mohamed Saheel has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Senior Emulation Engineer at Arteris IP since March 2022. Before that, they worked for Intel Corporation for several years. From May 2016 to February 2022, they served as a Graphics Hardware Engineer, focusing on hardware emulation, sub-system design, and validation capability engineering. During this role, they gained expertise in building designs on industry-leading emulation platforms, architecting and designing checkers/BFMs, as well as integrating and validating IPs in a sub-system environment.

Prior to this, Mohamed had an internship at Intel Corporation as a Graphics Hardware Intern from June 2015 to March 2016. Before joining Intel, they were a Graduate Student at Portland State University from September 2014 to March 2016.

Mohamed's earliest work experience was at Wipro Technologies, where they worked as a Project Engineer from October 2011 to April 2014. In this role, they were responsible for developing 4G LTE modules using UNIX system programming while adhering to 3gpp specifications. Mohamed also gained exposure to basic shell scripting and Linux device drivers.

Mohamed Saheel completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and communication engineering from BMS Institute of Technology and Management. Mohamed pursued this degree from 2007 to 2011. Later, they went on to obtain a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Portland State University, studying from 2014 to 2016.
