Bob Stoughton

Bob Stoughton is a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer currently at Arthrex since January 2019. Prior roles include Principal Mechanical Engineer at InDevR Inc., where Bob led efforts in developing same-day influenza subtype identification instrumentation and contributed to QMS & FDA design controls. Previous experience encompasses roles at Hach Company as Sr. Mechanical Engineer, where Bob architected a manufacturing line for a single-use test device, and Siemens Healthcare as Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for transforming customer needs into detailed specifications for medical imaging scanners. Bob also has a history of innovation, with patents pending for new applications of pulse oximeter sensors, and previously served as Principal Engineer at MicroDexterity Systems, developing robotic systems for assembly applications. Bob holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
