Miguel Borunda

Miguel Borunda currently serves as Area Assistant Vice President at Gallagher since February 2021 and has been a Board Member of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce since August 2017, focusing on fostering trade and investment between the United States and Mexico. Prior to this, Miguel held the position of Vice President at Poms & Associates from April 2016 to February 2021, providing consultancy on property and casualty insurance for various industries, with expertise in addressing unique risk protection needs and workplace risk. Miguel possesses bilingual capabilities in Spanish and has extensive experience in cross-border commerce, particularly with mid-market businesses across California, Texas, and Mexico. Miguel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from California State University-Dominguez Hills and completed high school education at Cathedral High School and participated in a summer program at Culver Academies.
