Haaris Bin Akram has worked in a variety of roles in the technology and education sector since 2014. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer in Virtual Reality at Arthur. In 2019, they co-founded LeARn - AR Edutainment Platform, an innovative, curriculum-aligned Augmented Reality educational platform. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Co-Founder and Chief Architect AR/VR at AR LEAP, a company focused on bringing information to life through Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. In 2016, they were a Contributing Photographer at Shutterstock. From 2015 to 2016, they were the STEM Solutions Developer at Robokids, an initiative to provide STEM education services in Pakistan. In 2014, they were the Head of Media and External Relations at Roshnai Foundation, a non-profit, non-governmental organization that seeks to provide basic education to the underprivileged. That same year, they were an Intern in the Switchgear Department at Pak Elektron Limited, a Pakistani electrical goods manufacturer.
Haaris Bin Akram has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Lahore University of Management Sciences. Prior to that, they obtained an F.Sc. in Pre-Engineering from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) between 2009 and 2011. Haaris also attended Unique High School from 2006 to 2009 and obtained their High School diploma.
