Lead Scientist, Computer Vision at Artie

Lindy Rauchenstein has a diverse work experience in various positions related to computer vision, machine learning, and software development.

Lindy started working at R3 Analytics in 2012, where they served as the Founder and Lead Software Developer until 2014.

After that, Lindy joined Battelle in 2015 as an Engineering Research Associate, where they focused on creating machine learning models for underwater localization and tracking. They also conducted physics-based simulations and improved fundamental algorithms during their time at Battelle.

In 2017, Lindy joined Marine Applied Research & Exploration (MARE) as the Chief Data Officer, a position they held until 2018.

Later in 2018, Lindy worked as a Freelance Machine Learning Engineer, where they trained deep learning models and processed data for automatic geographic contouring and segmentation.

Currently, Lindy is working as a Lead Scientist in Computer Vision at Artie, a position they have held since January 2019. They also serve as a Machine Learning Engineer at Artie since November 2018.

Lindy Rauchenstein holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, which was obtained from The Ohio State University. Following this, Lindy pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Ocean Engineering at Florida Atlantic University. In addition, Lindy had a brief period of study at the University of Virginia in 2006, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
