Yu Sun

Yu Sun is a Senior Scientist at Artios Pharma Ltd since June 2021, specializing in cancer research and pharmaceutical development. Prior to this role, Yu Sun served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge from January 2019 to July 2021, focusing on CRISPR/Cas9 screening to identify therapeutic targets for dementia in stem cell-derived neurons and investigating DNA damage response markers in dementia organoids. Yu Sun holds two Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the University of East Anglia, obtained in September 2018, in Biomedical Sciences and a related field of chemotherapy resistance, encompassing studies on reactive oxygen species, endoplasmic reticulum stress, autophagy, mitochondria, and cellular senescence.
