Katty Douraghy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. From 1988 to 1998, they worked at Macy's as a Manager of Special Services. In 1999, they became the General Manager at Hyperwerks Entertainment. In 2000, they transitioned to a role at Artisan Creative, initially as the Director of Recruiting, then as the Managing Director, and eventually as the President, a position they held from 2012 to 2012. In 2016, they founded their own company, Katty Douraghy, where they facilitated forums and retreats and laid the foundation for success for entrepreneurial companies. Alongside their own venture, Katty also served as the President of Inspiring Hiring from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, they have been involved in multiple leadership and facilitation roles at the Entrepreneurs' Organization, such as the EO Products Portfolio Chair, EO Forum Facilitator, MyEO Global Committee Chair, Women of EO Global Champion, and Sub-Committee Chair for Spousal Forum. In 2021, they authored the book "The Butterfly Years" and created the accompanying journal.

Katty Douraghy attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1982 to 1986, where they studied English Literature. Following this, they attended FIDM from 1986 to 1987, focusing on Merchandising.
