Josh Von Schaumburg

Josh von Schaumburg has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Josh started their career as an Economics Tutor at the University of Notre Dame in 2008. Josh then worked as a Marketing Associate at Gameday Housing LLC before taking on roles such as ITM Lab Administrator and Networking & Security Teaching Assistant at the University of Notre Dame.

In 2011, Josh joined Accenture as a Security Consultant, where they helped clients with IT security transformation initiatives. Josh also worked on Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, and Endpoint Security. During their time at Accenture, they developed documentation/processes and executed knowledge transfer to offshore teams.

In 2017, Josh took on the role of an Instructor at LinkedIn Learning, where they produced instructional videos on Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies. Josh also worked as a Professor at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business during this time.

From 2019 to 2021, Josh served as a Part-Time Consultant at VonHarlow Consulting LLC. Josh focused on helping organizations with security, compliance, and cloud services, particularly those in need of CIO or CISO oversight.

Josh joined Trek10, Inc. in 2015 and held various positions, including Senior Solutions Architect, Customer Solutions Lead, and Director of Sales Engineering. Trek10 specializes in designing, building, and supporting cutting-edge AWS solutions.

From 2021 to 2023, Josh held different management positions at Accenture, such as Principal Director, AWS Security Lead - North America, Managing Director, AWS Security Lead - North America, and Managing Director, Global AWS Security Lead. In these roles, they led teams and provided expertise in AWS security.

Currently, Josh is the Vice President, AWS Alliance at Artisan Studios, where they support clients' digital transformation journeys on AWS. Artisan Studios combines beautifully designed applications with cutting-edge AWS backend technology to deliver impactful results.

Josh von Schaumburg has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in IT Management from the University of Notre Dame. Josh also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the same university. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Security - Specialty from Amazon Web Services in June 2021, VNS3 VPN Certified Administrator from Cohesive Networks in 2017, SysOps Administrator - Associate Level from Amazon Web Services in January 2017, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services in January 2016, Amazon Web Services: Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level from Amazon Web Services in June 2015, and Network+ from CompTIA in 2013.
