Emily Grand

Emily Grand is a legal professional with diverse experience in both the legal and educational sectors. Currently serving as the Assistant to the Senior Literary Manager at Artists First since February 2023, Emily previously held roles as an Associate in the Strategic Transactions Group at Ropes & Gray LLP and in the IP Litigation Practice Group at Alston & Bird. Prior to these positions, Emily contributed to education as a Science Learning Team Leader for Teach For America and as a Secondary Science Teacher at Kansas City Public Schools, where curriculum development and student success were priorities. Emily also gained early experience as a Summer Intern with Environment America, focusing on renewable energy advocacy. Emily Grand holds a Doctor of Law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Westminster College.
