Melissa Thalin, RN, BSN, MBA has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations. Melissa is currently serving as the Director of New Indications and Clinical Research at Artivion, Inc. Prior to this, Melissa worked at Medtronic in several roles including Senior Clinical Research Manager, Senior Clinical Research Program Manager, Clinical Research Manager, Principal Clinical Research Specialist, and Sr. Clinical Research Specialist. Melissa also gained experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator at St Paul Heart Clinic and worked as a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse and Float Pool Nurse at Unity Hospital. Melissa began their career as a learner at Bethel University. Overall, their work experience spans over many years and encompasses key positions in clinical research management, nursing, and leadership roles.

Melissa Thalin, RN, BSN, MBA, completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Bethel University in 2005. Later, they pursued an MBA from the same university, which they completed in 2011. Melissa's education began with their high school diploma from Coon Rapids High School. Additionally, in 2015, they obtained an Applied Biostatistics Post Baccalaureate Certificate from the University of Minnesota.
