Angela Verardi

Angela Verardi has a diverse range of experience in event management and sales. Angela is currently the Director of Event Operations at Artscape, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Events at UJA Federation of Greater Toronto from August 2021 to April 2023.

From April 2018 to August 2021, Angela worked as the Director of Conference Centre Sales and Events at the Leo & Sala Goldhar Conference and Celebration Centre. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing client relationships, developing sales and marketing plans, and providing exceptional customer service.

Before joining the Leo & Sala Goldhar Conference and Celebration Centre, Angela held multiple positions at UJA Federation of Greater Toronto. From April 2015 to April 2018, they were the Senior Manager of Events, managing a calendar of events for UJA's annual campaign. Prior to that, from June 2010 to April 2015, they served as the Events Manager, planning and managing various events such as campaign launches, festivals, receptions, and educational programs.

Angela's career in the event industry began at the International Centre, where they worked from July 2002 to May 2010. Initially starting as a Marketing/Sales Support, they later transitioned to the role of Event Logistics Manager. In this role, they served as the facility contact for show managers and event planners, coordinating the logistical and operational elements of various events.

Overall, Angela Verardi has a strong background in event management, sales, and customer service, with extensive experience in overseeing operations, managing client relationships, and executing successful events.

Angela Verardi obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in International Marketing from Humber College in 2002. Prior to that, they earned a BA degree in Modern Languages from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Angela obtained a certification in Performance Management: Setting Goals and Managing Performance from LinkedIn in January 2023.
