Donna Faranda is an accomplished artist and educator with over 30 years of experience in creating artwork, primarily utilizing digital mediums. As a self-employed Artist in Residence since April 2018, Donna has transitioned from traditional techniques to digital art creation. Additionally, Donna has served as a teacher in residence at ArtsWestchester since 2008 and has substantial experience as a contact tracer and case investigator for the New York State Contact Tracing Initiative from October 2020 to March 2022, where critical thinking and client interaction were key responsibilities. Earlier career roles include managing the breast cancer helpline for SHARE and serving as a resident teaching artist through Hospital Audiences, Inc. Donna holds an MFA in Painting from Pratt Institute and an MED in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education.
