Samuel Rozenberg

Born in 1981, Samuel Rozenberg is a New York-based product and engineering executive. Samuel is currently the Executive Vice President of Product & Engineering at Artsy, a position they have held since December 2018.

Previously, Rozenberg served as an engineering manager at Instagram from October 2017 to December 2018. There, they bootstrapped and supported several teams that worked on Instagram Feed.

Before Instagram, Rozenberg was with Spotify for nearly four years, from November 2013 to September 2017. Samuel started as a Tribe Lead (Director of Engineering) and eventually became responsible for managing the company's entire engineering org, which grew explosively during their tenure. Based in NYC, Boston and Stockholm, Rozenberg and their team developed personalized experiences such as Discover Weekly, Release Radar and Daily Mix; created recommendation engines; built a content programing platform (CMS); and constructed a notification platform (CRM).

Rozenberg's career began at Nomura in October 2008 as a Quant Trader. Samuel held this position until September 2013.

Samuel Rozenberg has a MSc in Financial Engineering from Columbia Engineering and a MSc in Applied Mathematics from CentraleSupélec. Samuel also has a Prépa in Mathematics and Physics from Lycee St Louis.
