Brent Henderson

Brent Henderson has extensive experience in technical product management and development. Brent is currently working as a Sr. Technical Product Manager at Arturo, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Urbint from June 2022 to February 2023 in a similar role.

Brent spent a significant portion of their career at GE Power, where they held the position of Sr Technical Product Manager from July 2008 to July 2022. Before that, they worked as a Technical Product Owner at MapFrame Corporation from November 2003 to June 2008.

Earlier in their career, Brent served as a Development Manager at GE Energy from November 2000 to October 2003. Brent was responsible for leading a team of technical staff and contractors in creating complex engineering design mapping applications.

Prior to this, Brent worked as the Manager of Applications Support for the Energy Division at Smallworld Systems, Inc. from January 1997 to October 2000. Brent supervised a technical sales team and delivered product demonstrations to utility companies in North America.

Brent's career started at Southwest Research Institute, where they served as a Sr. Research Engineer from January 1984 to December 1996. Brent specialized in developing 3-D modeling and visualization projects for environmental hazard analysis, digital terrain rendering projects for the Department of Defense, and training simulator projects for NASA. Brent possessed expertise in C++, object-oriented programming, ADA, UNIX, and OpenGL.

Brent Henderson has a strong educational background in computer engineering and engineering science. Brent completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from St. Mary's University from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science from Trinity University, where they studied from 1979 to 1983.

In addition to their formal education, Brent Henderson has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Brent became a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) through the Scrum Alliance in March 2023. Moreover, they obtained the certification of Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2020, demonstrating their expertise in the field.
