Daniel Schaefer

Daniel Schaefer has a comprehensive work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Daniel is currently working at Aryaka as the VP, Controller, a role they took on in May 2022. Prior to their current position, they were the Senior Director and Assistant Corporate Controller at Aryaka, starting in April 2021 and ending in May 2022.

At Flextronics, they managed SEC filings, financial reporting, and subsidiary guarantor financial statements.

Daniel began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in September 2006 as an Associate and was later promoted to Senior Associate. At PwC, they were involved in auditing engagements, including IPOs and acquisitions, and conducted substantive and analytical audit procedures.

Prior to PwC, Daniel worked at Blue Cross of California as a Sales Communication & Support Associate from June 2003 to December 2005, where they assisted with the preparation and review of employee health benefit plans and the rollout of the company's website.

Daniel Schaefer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management Economics, Accounting, and Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2006. Daniel also obtained additional certifications including a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants in 2013 and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the California Board of Accountancy in 2011.
