Samir Mitragotri

Samir Mitragotri is a Scientific Advisor for Asalyxa Bio. He is Hiller Professor of Bioengineering and Wyss Professor of Biologically Inspired Engineering at John A Paulson School of Engineering & Applied Sciences at Harvard University and Wyss Institute. Prof. Mitragotri is a leading scientist in the field of drug delivery. His research has led to the development of new materials and technologies for delivering drugs for the treatment of various diseases. He is an elected member of the National Academy of Engineering, National Academy of Medicine and National Academy of Inventors. He is also an elected fellow of AAAS, CRS, BMES, AIMBE, and AAPS. He received his BS in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology, India and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from MIT.
