Kiran Rao

Kiran Rao is a Senior Software Engineer at Asana, specializing in the Authorization Team since June 2022, where Kiran developed Standard Access Levels to enhance admin control across all Asana objects and led an 8-engineer project to implement Editor permission levels. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at The League - Meet Intelligently from August 2019 to April 2022, as well as various engineering roles at Facebook, SharpestMinds, Blue J Legal, Voltera, and Nokia. Kiran began the professional career as a Hardware Support Engineer in early 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2019.
