Parag H. Matalia, SPC, CSM, PMP has a wide range of experience in various roles and industries. Parag H. started their career as a Consultant at Xpedior, Inc. in 1998 and later joined First Consulting Group as an Analyst in 2000. In 2001, they became a Project Manager at Apptis, where they managed the development of the U.S. State Department's Passport Information Electronic Records System (PIERS).

Parag H. then worked as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2003 to 2005, providing strategic business analysis and process re-engineering consulting services to clients such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Most recently, Parag has been working at Ascella Technologies, Inc. since 2015 as a Senior Principal and Agile Practice Leader, where they lead the Agile practice within the organization and supports clients in adopting and implementing the SAFe framework to enhance business agility.

Parag H. Matalia, SPC, CSM, PMP, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, which was completed from 1993 to 1998. In addition to their undergraduate education, they have obtained multiple certifications. These include the SAFe Program Consultant 4 (SPC4) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., obtained in March 2015, and the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in September 2012.
