Kate Broshears

Kate Broshears is currently the Chief of Staff and VP of Operations at Ascend Indiana. Kate has previously worked as a consultant for Horizon League, Race Operations Director for Ohio University's Race for a Reason, and Assistant Director of Division III Governance Communications and Governance Intern for the NCAA.

Kate's experience in strategic planning, event management, and stakeholder relations make their an excellent leader at Ascend Indiana. In their role as Chief of Staff and VP of Operations, Kate oversees the organization's daily operations and ensures that Ascend Indiana's programs are running smoothly. Kate also manages the staff and volunteers, and works closely with the Board of Directors to implement the organization's strategic plan.

Kate is a strong advocate for education and has dedicated their career to helping others achieve their goals. Kate is a graduate of Ohio University and has a master's degree in Sports Administration from Indiana University.

Kate Broshears began their educational career by studying economics at DePauw University, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts. Kate then pursued a Master of Business Administration / Master of Sport Administration and Facility Management at Ohio University. In addition, Kate Broshears holds a certification from the American Health Care Academy in Adult CPR and First Aid.

Kate Broshears reports to Jason Kloth, President & CEO. Kate Broshears works with Latoya Botteron - CFO & COO, Stephanie Bothun - VP, Consulting, and Ozan Selcuk - CTO & VP, Product Development.
