The board of directors at Ascend Indiana has a history of experience in various industries and fields of education. Some specific companies that members of the board have been affiliated with in the past include Indiana University Maurer School of Law, The Eye Center of Southern Indiana, Lumavate, KAR Auction Services, Inc., Octiv, and Orr Fellowship. Furthermore, the board members have also worked as middle school mathematics teachers, mathematics teachers, math curriculum designers, and ACE teaching fellows. In terms of education, the board members have degrees from universities such as O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University Bloomington, University of Notre Dame, and Kelley School of Business.
