Jeff Dewing

Jeff Dewing has a rich work history with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Jeff is currently serving as the Global Head of Business Development at Ascend.io, a position they began in February 2023. Prior to this, they were a Member at Gopher Angels, a group of accredited investors in Minnesota that supports entrepreneurs through financial support, strategic guidance, and valuable connections.

From 2010 to January 2023, Jeff worked at Oracle Corporation as the VP Global Industry Advisor and Global Lead for Retail & Consumer Goods. Before that, they held the position of Senior Managing Director of the Retail Business and Technology Service Line at SUPERVALU from 2009 to 2010.

Jeff's career also includes roles such as VP of Business Development and Client Services at Customer Solutions Group from 2008 to 2009, Senior Director at Target Corporation from 2005 to 2008, and Vice President at Business Objects from 2003 to 2005. Jeff held the position of Senior Vice President at divine, inc. from 2000 to 2003 and worked as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP from 1995 to 2000.

Jeff began their professional journey as a Systems Engineer at EDS in 1991, where they gained foundational experience. Overall, Jeff has accumulated extensive expertise in business development, client services, strategic guidance, and leadership throughout their career.

Jeff Dewing received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Marketing from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Jeff attended the university from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued their MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, specializing in Finance, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. Jeff completed their MBA from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Jeff Dewing has obtained several certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Jeff holds certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2020 Enterprise Workloads Certified Associate, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2020 Certified Architect Professional, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2020 Certified Architect Associate.
