Annie Dodson

Annie Dodson has 27 years of work experience. Annie started their career in 1994 at Ascend Performance Materials, where they held various roles including Principal Quality Engineer, Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist, MBB, Operations Excellence Project Leader, and Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer. In these positions, they led efforts to improve quality, reduce cost, increase efficiency, and reduce waste. Annie achieved notable success, such as leading a 6-sigma project resulting in $921K in new sales capacity and implementing a companywide root cause analysis method for reliability and safety investigations. Annie also solved several significant customer complaints.

In 2022, Annie joined the University of West Florida as an Adjunct Instructor of Statistics. Prior to that, they worked at Solutia, where they served as a Polymer/Fibers Pilot Plant Supervisor and a Manufacturing Technical Support Engineer from 1994 to 2004.

Annie Dodson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Florida from 1989 to 1994. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of West Florida from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt certification through the institution ASQ - World Headquarters in 2008.
