Keh Dema is a highly experienced and accomplished professional in the field of nonwovens substrates design and production. They have expertise in various areas such as filtration media (liquid, air, and RO membrane), battery separators (lead acid and Li-ion), and medical applications.
Keh Dema started their career in 1987 at Donaldson as a Principal Scientist, where they developed innovative materials and products for the filtration and nonwoven industries. They excelled in managing collaborations with industrial and academic partners.
In 2012, Keh Dema joined Eastman Chemical Company as an Application Development Scientist, specializing in fibers and microfibers nonwovens innovation. They led global efforts in developing different types of microfibers and cellulose acetate fibers, as well as creating nonwovens substrates using wet laid and dry laid processes for filtration purposes.
Continuing their career journey, Keh Dema moved to Ascend Performance Materials in 2021 as a Principal Product Technology Scientist.
Currently, Keh Dema is semi-retired, focusing on their expertise in nonwovens substrates design and production related to raw materials for filtration media, battery separators, and medical applications.
From 1980 to 1982, Keh Dema attended Tennessee Technological University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
