Patrick O'Neal

Patrick O'Neal is an experienced professional with a strong background in chemical laboratory management and team leadership. Currently serving as a Team Leader at Ascend Performance Materials since May 1996, Patrick O'Neal supervises operations in manufacturing control and environmental labs, managing 26 direct reports and a budget of $4 million, with a focus on analytical method upgrades and Lean Manufacturing principles. Previously, Patrick O'Neal was a Chemical Laboratory Manager at Solutia, Inc., where oversight of physical testing lab operations led to a $135,000 cost savings project through the implementation of new technology. Technical expertise includes the use of various analytical instruments such as GC, LC, IC, FTIR, and DSC, along with the generation of six STMs and five RTMs. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of West Florida and a B.S. in Criminology from Florida State University.
