Duncan Thomson

Duncan Thomson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) management across various organizations in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Global HSSE Lead at SC Global Tubular Solutions since January 2016, Duncan is responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing fit-for-purpose HSSE management systems and fostering a robust HSSE culture within Sumitomo's tubular businesses. Previous roles include HSES Team Lead at Premier Oil in the Falkland Islands Business Unit and HSSE Team Lead at BP, with earlier positions at Chevron, Shell, and Team 45. Duncan holds an education from St Luke's College Karratha.
