Ndiya Ogba has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, focusing on studying preclinical models of dormancy in hormone-responsive breast cancer. During this time, they also taught research skill courses and successfully competed for grant proposals.
In 2015, Ndiya transitioned to the role of Instructor at the same institution. Alongside research and teaching, they served as a voting member of the Institutional Biosafety Committee, overseeing and monitoring research involving recombinant DNA and select agents.
In 2016, Ndiya joined the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) as an Oncology Scientist/Medical Writer. Ndiya developed and updated clinical content for NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology and related initiatives. Additionally, they reviewed adaptations and external uses of NCCN Guidelines content, and contributed to educational programs and articles for the Journal of NCCN.
Their most recent position is with Ascentage Pharma Group Inc. where they serve as the Associate Director of Scientific Publication Writing starting in January 2021.
Ndiya Ogba completed a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at Benedict College from 1999 to 2003. Ndiya then pursued a PhD in Pharmacology, specializing in breast cancer, at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine from 2003 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained certification in Introduction to Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis from Coursera in August 2021 and became a Medical Writer Certified (MWC®) through the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA)/Medical Writing Certification Commission in December 2020.
